Awakening memories
The publisher Bocola has been releasing since April last year the exclusive edition of the adventure series. All eight volumes are based on the English original editions of the publisher Macmillan from the 1940s and 1950s. Unlike the original German editions, which omitted many images, the nostalgia volumes contain all illustrations by Stuart Tresilian, which are lovingly designed down to the last detail. These have been digitally reconstructed by the publisher in a very elaborate way and now they decorate not only the inside pages, but also the book cover made of SURBALIN chamois with the embossing honan. The linen-like surface structure of the yellowish cover material is making the design perfect, based on the original design.
