A glance into the cards - ESKA black for a exclusive Tarot-Set
The three initiators of IPS (Independent Paper Show), Sonderegger, Bubu and Lorenz Boegli, always come up with great concepts, this time in collaboration with the agency Raffinerie AG. A set of 22 tarot cards from the Major Arcana was designed for the IPS 2025 invitation. The cards were screen-printed by Lorenz Boegli. The print was partially underlaid with screened hot foil and combined with transparent foil embossing to create a new visual depth. The box was made from ESKA black dyed cardboard and red paper, also dyed, from Sonderegger.
The special construction of the lid is particularly eye-catching. It consists of several joints created by laminating another dyed paper onto ESKA black and then grooving it up to this paper. ESKA black is a dyed cardboard laminated on the top and bottom with high-quality dyed paper. The composite material is perfect for high-quality and precisely manufactured packaging solutions.
The IPS 2026 will take place on 6 and 7 May in Lausanne.
