Peyer’s new range of print samples makes the differences visible and tangible.

The second series of Peyer print samples also represents every technical challenge in printing: four-colour and spot-colour printing, colour gradients in overprinting, screenings, and halftone-based and four-colour black demonstrate the wide range of possibilities offered by the materials when combined with sophisticated design and modern printing technology. The additional hot foil finishing shows how the material and foil harmonise and enhance the design.

The design concept was once again created by 2xGoldstein, who converted the different surfaces and material characteristics into an expressive design rich in colour and form. The second edition was printed at Memminger MedienCentrum on three paper qualities: PEYGREEN glatt, made of 100% recycled fibre; PEYDUR recycled neuleinen, made of 100% recycled fibre; and PEYDUR lissé - fresh fibre, with a high proportion of long-fibre pulp.

As for the first series, the focus here is on a direct comparison of materials as well: although the materials have similar properties, they differ in terms of feel, surface finish and printing image. The print samples allow to experience these differences first-hand, helping you to choose the right cover material for books, packaging and other high-quality printing projects.
