Phanatastic COMTESSE
For the large-format volume accompanying the "Flesh for Fantasy" exhibition by the artist Miron Schmückle, padded book cases were covered with elegant COMTESSE fabric in kalkgrau. The colourful motif was offset printed by Printer Trento. The author's name, the publisher's logo and the Städel Museum logo are also screen-printed. Numerous works showing surreal mixed creatures from the plant and animal world are illustrated on double pages. Unfortunately, the exhibition at the Städel Museum in Frankfurt is already closed. The book gives an idea of how impressive it must have been.
