Skinflex for a catalogue
“We grew some eyes” is the IV volume of the publication of the graduating class of master students of the Weißenhof Program at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste (ABK) in Stuttgart. It contains a documentation of the presentation of 2020 of the same name at Villa Merkel, Galerie der Stadt Esslingen. SKINFLEX was chosen for the cover. Like CABRA, SKINFLEX is a leather fibre material that can be custom-made in any color, thickness, surface finish and gloss level, starting from 100 running meters. The graduating class opted for a grayish color with a leather-like surface embossing. The cover was finished with a screen printed silver area and black typography.
